Springfield, Illinois – Around noon today, Police responded to the 1500 block of Seven Pines Rd., for a shooting.
A woman, who is one of the victims in the shooting, told police that she had been shot in the stomach and leg several times. A male victim was also shot, and his injuries were described as being shot in the back and leg.
When officers arrived on scene they reported that the woman had been shot several times and was in a vehicle.
The suspect was last seen leaving the area in a silver 4 door vehicle, headed towards Chatham Rd.
Both victims were taken to a local hospital, but at this time we do not know the condition of both victims.
