Springfield, Illinois – A Springfield Real Estate Company surprised several shoppers and charity organizations here in Springfield on Friday, November 29, 2019. The Winchester Sales Team, which is located at 3701 Wabash Ave., handed out thousands of dollars at Scheels, Target, Schnucks and to local Charity Organizations.

Shoppers were brought to tears and very appreciative of the donation. While at Scheels, one mother posted on her facebook page, “While visiting Scheel’s today, we saw Buddy the Elf (Adam Bugos). He looked at Raelyn and then at Dawson and came over to talk and get a picture with them, but they were hesitant. Too cool for pictures with an elf nowadays. He told them which ever one wouldn’t take a picture with him would regret it. So they both agreed. After the photo he and his helpers handed both, Dawson and Raelyn $100 bill each. There are some amazing people in this world. I literally am still in shock. Dawson and Raelyn have had to go through so many changes lately, especially during the holiday season. Thank you, Buddy! You are an angel. We still believe in miracles.”

Another Scheel’s shopper also had praises for Buddy the Elf (Adam Bugos). She said on facebook, “At Scheels shopping with Noni, Kim, and my two girls. This great elf walked up and asked Ella if she is good at sharing.. She said yes and he handed her a $100 bill. Made my girls day! Thank you Scheels!!!!”

“This is great! I gotta say, Jami (Winchester), Sara (Gawlowski), & Nancy (Achas) are a blast to work with and we love giving back,” said Adam. Autumn Tibbs with Contact Ministry also received a $5,000 donation from The Winchester Sales Team, and said on Facebook, “You’re the best! Thank you so much for providing warm winter items for Contact Ministries today! We can’t thank you enough! Thanks for loving Springfield and spreading the love this season!!”

“What a truly amazing day of Giving Back and Paying it Forward,” said Jami Winchester, who is the Broker Associate and Partner of The Winchester Sales Team.

Local Springfield Charities who received a very generous donation from The Winchester Sales Team included Helping the Homeless in Springfield IL. They received a donation of $3,000. The James Project, which is a not-for-profit and provides homes and support for fostering families in Sangamon County, also received a donation of $3,000.
