
Springfield, Illinois – (Story in Progress) Another shooting has taken place today in Springfield, Illinois. This shooting comes less than 24 hours after another shooting took place yesterday on E. Today, around 11:30 a.m., Springfield Police were called to St. John’s Hospital after an 18 year-old male teen showed up to the hospital with a gunshot wound to his right arm.

The teen was driven to the hospital after being shot. Springfield Police are currently trying to locate where the shooting took place at, but as of right now police believe it may have occurred in the 400 block of W. Capitol Ave.
Currently, witnesses, who were at the scene, are saying they didn’t see where the bullet came from, according to a source close to Springfield Leaks
The victim’s injuries are considered non-life threatening
