Springfield, Illinois – A man is now in custody, after being arrested by Springfield Police for the stabbing of a 26 year old Woman.
Springfield Police were immediately called after Adrianne Terry, age 26, walked into Memorial Hospital Emergency room after being stabbed in the abdomen on Friday, January 31, 2020, around 3:40 a.m., in the 1700 block of North Grand Ave. W. The victim told police that her boyfriend, Kendall L. Roach, age 29, was the suspect who stabbed her.
Later in the day, on Friday, the Sangamon County State’s Attorney Office charged Kendall with aggravated battery, a class 2 felony and domestic battery a class A Misdemeanor. A warrant was then immediately issued for his arrest.
Springfield Police took Kendall L. Lee, age 29, into custody on Saturday, February 1, 2020 around 9:00 p.m., Bond has been set for Kendall in the amount of $75,000, with 10 percent to apply, so Kendall will have to pay $7,500 to be released from the Sangamon County Jail.
