Fourth City of Springfield Employee tests positive for COVID-19

Springfield, Illinois – We can confirm that an employee at the City Water, Light and Power Engineering Department has tested positive for COVID-19.

According to a City of Springfield employee, the COVID-19 positive employee works at the 1008 E. Miller St. location.

This employee is the fourth City of Springfield Employee who has tested positive for COVID-19. The other three employees, who tested positive for COVID-19, works at the CWLP Public Works Garage located at 301 N. 17th St.
