
Springfield, Illinois – Sangamon County Coroner, Cinda Edwards, has confirmed that Carlos Blue, aka Dagwood, age 28, was pronounced deceased, as a result of multiple gunshot wounds, today at 8:30 a.m.
Coroner Edwards said, “He (Carlos Blue), was the victim of multiple gunshot wounds and was discovered outdoors in the area of 200 South Wesley in Springfield, Illinois. “The death of Mr. Blue is consistent with a homicide,” said Coroner Edwards.
Multiple condolences have been written on Facebook today expressing sympathy and disbelief. “Dagwood Indacut was one of the first lil dudes I met when I moved to the field. Shorty was a good dude and harmless asl (as hell)… All he ever wanted was a couple bucks but didn’t have a problem earning it.. The good always being took to early while these suckers roam freely…” said Pierre Santiago on Dagwood’s Facebook Page.
“Damn Dagwood Indacut… he didn’t deserve that he was a good dude….smh,” wrote Nickey Alexander, who is the owner of Nickey’s Southern Style Kitchen.
Springfield Ward 2 Alderman, Shawn Gregory, also released a statement regarding the death of Dagwood. Gregory said, “I’m very saddened to hear of the death of Dagwood. We all knew him from the community since we all were kids. I think we honor him by taking it upon ourselves to pledge that we will never again engage in nonsense. Seen him at Jamal’s not to long ago and as always he made me laugh with that cig hanging out his mouth. Rest up young brother.”
